Job Description

The Corporate Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain and warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and team leadership to meet organizational goals and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and logistics, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Management:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.

  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics (e.g., lead times, costs, delivery accuracy) to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues.

  • Manage demand planning and forecasting to align inventory levels with business needs.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Warehouse Operations:

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.

  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Ensure proper inventory control and conduct regular audits to minimize discrepancies.

  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and productivity.

  • Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular training.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain and warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.

  • Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for supply chain and warehouse operations.

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels.

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Leverage technology and automation to streamline supply chain and warehouse processes.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in supply chain and warehouse management, preferably in a corporate or large-scale environment.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, warehouse operations, and logistics.

  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
