Job Description
The Corporate Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain and warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods. This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and team leadership to meet organizational goals and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, warehouse operations, and logistics, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Supply Chain Management:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics (e.g., lead times, costs, delivery accuracy) to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues.
Manage demand planning and forecasting to align inventory levels with business needs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Warehouse Operations:
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Ensure proper inventory control and conduct regular audits to minimize discrepancies.
Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and productivity.
Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular training.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain and warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to team members.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Cost Management:
Develop and manage budgets for supply chain and warehouse operations.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms.
Technology and Innovation:
Leverage technology and automation to streamline supply chain and warehouse processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 4-10 years of experience in supply chain and warehouse management, preferably in a corporate or large-scale environment.
Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, warehouse operations, and logistics.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
