Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production & Quality Control Officer to join our team. In this role, you will oversee production processes, ensure adherence to quality standards, and contribute to maintaining an efficient and safe manufacturing environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Production Oversight: Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to schedule. Coordinate daily production activities and report on progress.

• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that products meet company and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections of materials and finished products.

• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production and quality control processes, recommending solutions to enhance productivity and product quality.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production data and quality inspections, reporting any issues or trends to management.

• Training: Assist in training and guiding production staff on quality standards and procedures to ensure compliance across manufacturing processes.

• Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and design teams to ensure that products are manufactured according to specifications and quality standards.

• Safety Compliance: Ensure that workplace safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field of study

• Experience: 1- 2 years of experience in production or quality control role, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.

  Qualification:

• Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with production management software.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes and materials.

• Experience in training and mentoring production staff.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
