We are looking for a highly analytical, proactive, and patient Technical Support Officer to provide expert level hardware and software assistance to our team someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment by staying two steps ahead.

The Technical Support Officer is responsible for coordinating and supporting the installation of security camera systems for customers purchasing through AK retail stores. The role includes assembling, supervising, and coordinating part-time installation technicians, ensuring quality installations, and providing technical training to internal technicians and agent-based technical teams distributing AK Vision cameras.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Technical Installation & Support

• Coordinate and oversee installation of security camera systems for retail customers

• Conduct site assessments and recommend appropriate camera placement and configurations

• Ensure installations meet company quality standards and customer requirements

• Provide post-installation technical support and basic troubleshooting

Technician Coordination & Supervision

• Assemble, schedule, and manage part-time installation technicians

• Assign installation tasks and monitor technician performance

• Ensure technicians follow safety guidelines, technical standards, and company procedures

• Maintain a roster and performance records of installation technicians

Training & Capacity Building

• Provide hands-on technical training to installation technicians

• Conduct training sessions for technical teams of agents distributing AK Vision cameras

• Develop basic training materials, installation guides, and troubleshooting manuals

• Ensure agents and technicians are updated on new products and technologies

Retail & Agent Support

• Work closely with retail sales teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to installation

• Provide technical advice to sales teams when required

• Support agent partners with technical inquiries and after-sales assistance

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare installation reports

• Maintain records of installations, trainings conducted, and technical issues

• Provide regular reports to management on installation activities and technical performance

Job Requirement:

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in CCTV installation, technical support, or related roles

• Strong practical knowledge of security camera systems, DVRs/NVRs, networking, and cabling

• Experience coordinating or supervising technicians (full-time or part-time)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail and ERP)

• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

• Strong hands-on technical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to train and mentor technical teams

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Customer-focused mindset
