Job Description

Purchasers select and purchase stock, materials, services or goods. They organise tender procedures and select suppliers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing and procuring goods and services as per company requirements.

  • Communicate with suppliers to negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.

  • Monitor market trends and research potential new suppliers.

  • Support senior purchasers in vendor evaluations and selection processes.

  • Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and contracts.

  • Handle administrative tasks related to purchasing activities.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or in a related field with relevant work experience

  • Experience: 0 -1 year of working experience
