Vehicle Maintenance Officers inspect, test and maintain vehicles, motorcycles, engine tune-ups and tyre replacements. They repair engine failures, lube replacements. Vehicle technicians replace vehicle components and evaluate warranty options.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work

• Discussing required repairs with customers

• Calculating the expected time and cost of vehicle work

• Repairing or replacing components as required

• Road testing vehicles to test repair work

• Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including immobilisers, alarms and stereos

• Performing service checks

Job Requirements

• BSc Degree in Automotive Technology field of study.

• Computer skill is mandatory.
