The Cost Controller is responsible to oversees the company’s accounting department .They take ownership for every aspect that goes into producing an organization‘s report from cost productive and margins all the way down to expenditures .

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cost Tracking and Analysis: Monitor, analyse, and report on costs associated with business operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgets.

• Budget Preparation: Assist in preparing and managing budgets, providing detailed financial forecasts and variance analysis.

• Expense Monitoring: Track expenses and ensure compliance with company policies, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.

• Monthly and Quarterly Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly cost reports, summarizing financial data and highlighting variances from the budget.

• Forecasting: Develop and update financial forecasts, supporting management in assessing future cost requirements.

• Variance Analysis: Analyze cost variances and explain deviations from budgets, proposing corrective actions when necessary.

• Project Cost Control: Collaborate with financial managers to review budgets and monitor ongoing costs, ensuring they remain within budget limits.

• Month end Inventory Count: Counting inventory every month with the store keeper and make inventory reconciliation.

• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.

• Audit and Compliance: Provide support during internal and external audits.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance or in a related field of study

• Experience: 4 - 7 years of working experience

• Experience in the hotel industry is preferable.
