Job Description
Minaye PLC is looking for a qualified Lift Mechanic with expertise in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering to maintain and repair lift systems across our facilities. This role requires technical proficiency, a commitment to safety, and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and servicing lift systems.
Required Number: 4
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair lift systems to ensure operational efficiency.
Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in lift systems.
Conduct routine inspections and tests for functionality and safety compliance.
Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and service reports.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
1 - 3 years of working experience
Previous experience as a Lift Mechanic or in a similar role.
Knowledge of lift installation and repair standards.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems effectively.
Preferred Skills:
Certification or training on specific lift systems (e.g., KONE, Otis, or Schindler).
Familiarity with Ethiopian safety standards and practices.
