Duties & Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute high-level sales strategies to meet the company’s revenue goals, focusing on both new business development and expanding existing customer accounts.

  • Work closely with sales leadership to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and target markets, including identifying growth opportunities in the construction chemicals sector.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to optimize sales strategies and improve sales processes.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners to drive sales and ensure high customer retention.

  • Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions, serving as a trusted advisor for major accounts.

  • Manage high-value or strategic accounts and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Business Development:

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the company’s sales footprint.

  • Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert opportunities into sales, focusing on B2B relationships in the construction chemicals sector.

  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company objectives.

Sales Target Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs set by senior management, driving revenue growth across assigned territories or customer segments.

  • Monitor individual sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement, sharing best practices with team members.

  • Report regularly on sales performance, trends, forecasts, and key account updates to senior management.

Sales Training & Mentoring:

  • Mentor and train junior sales team members by sharing industry knowledge, sales strategies, and best practices.

  • Provide support in handling complex or challenging sales situations, offering guidance on negotiation, closing techniques, and overcoming objections.

  • Ensure junior team members have the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Use insights from market data to inform sales strategies, adjust approaches, and identify emerging sales opportunities.

  • Stay up to date on construction chemicals industry developments, regulatory changes, and customer preferences.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure that customer feedback, product features, and market needs are integrated into the sales process.

  • Work closely with marketing to align sales and promotional campaigns, leveraging marketing materials to maximize sales impact.

  • Support the smooth delivery of products to customers by working with logistics and supply chain teams, ensuring timely fulfillment of orders.

Sales Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and deal progress in the company’s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Provide detailed sales reports, including sales forecasts, performance metrics, and competitor insights, to senior leadership.

  • Track and analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market changes to inform future sales strategies.

  • Perform other job-related duties as required by the company

Job Requirements:

  • Educaiton: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales Management, Marketing, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is typically required.

  • A Master’s degree (MBA), particularly with a focus on Sales, Marketing, or Business Development, is highly beneficial but not mandatory for this role.

  • Experience: 3 years of experience in sales, particularly in the construction chemicals, chemical manufacturing, or similar industries.
