YaYa Wallet, is seeking dedicated Sales Representatives to support the onboarding and adoption of YaYa Wallet within public hospitals and health facilities for its project with the Federal Ministry of Health (MoH) and Regional Health Bureaus.

The role focuses on registering patients, attendants, and hospital service users, promoting cashless payments for healthcare services, and supporting the Ministry’s digital health and financial inclusion initiatives. Candidates with backgrounds in social work, community development, public health, or related fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

YaYa Wallet (YaYa PII SC) is a licensed payment instrument issuer providing fast, secure, inclusive, and tailored digital financial services through mobile wallet solutions. Our services include bank transfers, cash-in and cash-out, utility and bill payments, merchant transactions, inward international remittances, and recurring or scheduled payments.  As a rapidly growing fintech company, we are seeking detail-oriented and principled Sales Representatives to support the onboarding and adoption of YaYa Wallet within public hospitals and health facilities for its projects with the Federal Ministry of Health (MoH) and Regional Health Bureaus.

Salary: Salary + Commission

Duties and Responsibilities:

Hospital-Based User Onboarding

  • Conduct daily onboarding activities in MoH-affiliated hospitals and health facilities.

  • Register patients, caregivers, and visitors on YaYa Wallet and support first-time usage.

  • Assist hospital cashiers and service points in directing patients to YaYa Wallet payment channels.

Digital Payment Promotion & Support

  • Promote YaYa Wallet as a secure, efficient, and MoH-approved payment option for healthcare services.

  • Guide users through QR, USSD, and app-based payments as applicable.

  • Support patients during peak service hours to reduce cash handling and waiting time.

Community & Social Engagement

  • Apply social work principles to communicate respectfully with diverse and vulnerable populations.

  • Build trust with hospital staff, patients, and attendants through ethical and inclusive engagement.

  • Provide clear, culturally appropriate explanations of digital payments.

Sales & Performance Execution

  • Achieve assigned onboarding and transaction activation targets.

  • Encourage repeat usage for laboratory, pharmacy, card, and other hospital services.

  • Support awareness campaigns and pilot rollouts within hospital compounds.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with hospital focal persons, and YaYa Wallet supervisors.

  • Submit daily and weekly activity, onboarding, and transaction reports.

  • Collect user feedback and report operational challenges for continuous improvement.

Job Requirement:

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Public Health, , Community Development, Marketing, or related disciplines (preferred).

  • Experience: Experience in hospital environments, community outreach, health extension work, or field sales is an advantage.

  • Prior exposure to digital financial services or mobile money is desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to explain digital services in a simple, patient-centered manner.

  • Comfortable working in busy hospital environments.

  • Basic smartphone and mobile application skills.

  • Fluency in Amharic or Afan Oromo, or Sidamu Afoo are strong advantages.
