Duties and Responsibilities:

Design and develop nutritionally balanced feed formulas for different animal species, considering their age, health, and production goals (e.g., milk, eggs, meat).
•    Evaluate the nutritional content of f ed ingredients, conducting laboratory tests to
assess nutrient levels like protein, fat, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
 Research new ingredients or additiv s to improve feed efficiency, reduce costs, or
enhance animal health and productivity.
•    Monitor ani  al performance and health, adjusting feed formulations b sed on growth
rates, production data, or veterinary advice.
•    Ensure that all feed formulations comply with local, national, and international regulations regarding animal feed production.
•    Analyze feed ingredient osts and seek ways to  optimize feed production while maintaining nutritional quality.
•    Provide advice and guidance to customers regarding best practices in feeding animals
for optimal health and performance.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• A bachelor’s degree in animal l nutrition, animal science, agricultural science, or a related field is typically required.

• Practical experience in animal nutrition, feed formulation, or veterinary care.

• 2-3 years of exp rience in agricultural production, veterinary care, or feed manufacturing.
  Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, an  a deep understanding of anima 

• physiology, nutrition, and dietary needs are essenti l. Experience with data analysis soft are and laboratory testing methods is also val able, along with good communication skills for advising and working with clients. Processing the ability to interact with all staff levels in a fast paced environment, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Must be task oriented, an excellent team member and able to juggle multiplepriorities with shifting agendas 

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS

• Computer proficiency

• Excellent planning, organizational skills

• Good communication and presentation skills
