Position Summary: Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager at 3AMH Business is responsible for designing and executing the market entry strategy for the company’s new import and export operations. This role involves identifying lucrative global trade opportunities, building a professional brand that resonates with international suppliers and local distributors, and managing the end-to-end marketing lifecycle for various commodities (ranging from raw materials to finished industrial goods).

The goal is to position 3AMH Business as a premier, high-trust gateway for commerce in the region, leveraging the group's existing strengths in logistics and manufacturing.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Market Research & Strategy Development

Since the company is new, your primary job is to identify where the opportunity lies.

  • Market Identification: Analyze global market trends to identify high-demand products and lucrative territories for both import and export.

  • Competitor Benchmarking: Study local and international competitors to determine pricing strategies, supply chain advantages, and gaps in the market.

  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning: Create comprehensive marketing plans for launching new product lines in diverse geographical regions.

2. Brand Identity & Trust Building

In international trade, credibility is currency.

  • Corporate Identity: Oversee the creation of the company logo, website, and professional "Company Profile" (essential for securing overseas partners).

  • Digital Presence: Build and manage a professional LinkedIn presence and a high-quality website that translates well across cultures.

  • Verification & Compliance: Ensure the brand is listed on global B2B directories (like Alibaba, Global Sources, or Thomasnet) and maintains a high "trust score."

3. Lead Generation & Partnership Acquisition

  • B2B Networking: Identify and vet potential foreign suppliers (for imports) and overseas distributors or wholesalers (for exports).

  • Trade Show Management: Plan and execute participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions to meet partners face-to-face.

  • Inbound Marketing: Use SEO and targeted LinkedIn advertising to attract businesses looking for the specific commodities or goods you handle.

4. Cross-Border Communication & Localization

  • Cultural Adaptation: Tailor marketing messages, packaging, and sales pitches to suit the cultural and legal requirements of target countries.

  • Translation Management: Ensure all technical specifications, contracts, and marketing collateral are accurately translated.

  • PR & Communication: Act as the point of contact for international media or industry bodies to build the company’s reputation.

5. Sales Support & Documentation

Marketing in import-export is closely tied to the "deal."

  • Sales Collateral: Create product catalogs, price lists (FOB, CIF, etc.), and technical data sheets.

  • Feedback Loops: Work closely with the logistics and sales teams to understand customer pain points regarding shipping times, quality, or customs issues.

  • CRM Management: Implement a system to track international leads and maintain long-term relationships with global vendors

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in marketing management or related field of studies.

  • Minimum of 7 years of directly related experience with the import export, automotive spare part,

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Excellent skill in marketing automation software and MS Office packages.

  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Amharic is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices.
