Operational:

• Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and behavioral rules while driving in all areas.

• Transport bagged malt from bagging to warehouse and store properly without damaging products, pallets, or property.

• Load malt onto trucks without damage and supply raw materials from stores as required.

• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the Manitou, its parts, and surrounding areas.

• Communicate and report any out-of-standard conditions without delay.

Autonomous maintenance:

• Perform periodic minor maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Manitou.

• Monitor technical condition through regular checks and report to the line manager or technical team.

• Adhere to planned bagging and loading schedules.

• Ensure maintenance is completed as per schedule and perform quick fixes such as greasing and cleaning.

• Work closely with logistics and bagging teams and operate as per SOPs.

• Ensure proper shift handover with good housekeeping.

Safety and Environment:

• Ensure self and co-worker safety while operating the Manitou; prevent oil, grease, and diesel spillages and maintain 5S.

• Commit to a safe work environment with the goal of Zero Harm.

Food safety and Quality Management:

• Ensure compliance with Food Safety and QMS procedures and requirements.

Energy:

• Maintain records of diesel refilling and consumption.

Job Requirements

• Vocational qualification in Automobile Mechanic (10+2 level)

• Valid special machine driving licence for lifting equipment

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating lifting equipment, including Manitou or similar machinery
