Position: Procurement Officer 

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing goods and services in a cost-effective, timely, and compliant manner. The role ensures availability of materials while maintaining quality standards and supplier relationships.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute procurement of goods, materials, and services

  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors

  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with user departments

  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures

  • Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases

  • Prepare procurement reports and cost analysis

Job Requirements

Requirements Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant procurement experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, construction Advantage

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

  • Knowledge of procurement procedures and contract management

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems

  • Good communication and analytical skills

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • High level of integrity and professionalism
