Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording and verifying financial transactions.

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.

• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable on a regular basis.

• Monitor and maintain fixed asset records, including depreciation schedules and disposals.

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Generate periodic financial reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to management and relevant stakeholders.

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.

• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, financial regulations, and applicable tax laws.

• Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations.

• Assist in the coordination of external audits and internal audits provide necessary documentation and support.

• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices.

• Conduct financial analysis, interpret data, and identify trends, patterns, and variances.

• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance or above

• 5 years or above work experience (Logistics experience preferable)
