Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and people-centered HR Officer to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who understands HR fundamentals, values confidentiality, and wants to grow into a strong HR professional.

The HR Officer will assist in recruitment, employee records management, HR compliance, and employee relations while ensuring HR processes run smoothly and professionally.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Support recruitment activities including posting vacancies, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters

  • Assist in onboarding new employees and ensuring proper documentation is completed

  • Coordinate induction and orientation programs

HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (physical and digital files)

  • Prepare HR letters (employment contracts, confirmations, warnings, and other HR documents)

  • Track employee attendance, leave, and probation periods

Employee Relations

  • Act as a first point of contact for basic employee HR inquiries

  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications

  • Assist in handling minor employee relations issues under guidance

Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure HR practices comply with labor laws, internal policies, and company procedures

  • Support implementation and communication of HR policies

  • Assist in HR audits and reports

Performance & Development

  • Support performance appraisal processes

  • Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating learning activities

General HR Support

  • Prepare HR reports and summaries when required

  • Support payroll coordination by providing accurate employee data

  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, , or a related field

  • 1–3 years of relevant HR experience

  • Basic knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
