Full-Stack Developer

Primary Stack: Laravel (PHP), React
Contract Type: Contract-based

Work Arrangement: On Site 

Salary: Negotiable 

Role Summary

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to work on a modern, decoupled web architecture where Laravel acts as the core backend and API layer, and React powers the public-facing interfaces. The role emphasises clean API design, scalable data models, and close integration with asynchronous backend services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Laravel as an API gateway

  • Build interactive and responsive user interfaces using React

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external consumption

  • Implement authentication, authorisation, and role-based access control

  • Integrate Laravel with asynchronous processing systems (queues, background jobs)

  • Work with Postgre SQL, including structured and semi-structured (JSON) data

  • Collaborate with Python-based services via REST and queue-based workflows

  • Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability

Job Requirements

Required Technical Skills

  • Strong experience with Laravel (API-first development)

  • Solid experience with React and modern JavaScript

  • Experience designing and consuming REST APIs

  • Good knowledge of relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL)

  • Experience with background jobs and queues

  • Familiarity with Docker-based development environments

  • Proficient with Git and collaborative workflows

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Filament PHP

  • Understanding of distributed or hybrid monolith architectures

  • Experience integrating with search or analytics systems

  • Ability to work independently
