Job Description

The Logistics Manager is accountable for the full logistics lifecycle across Emawa Shopping’s omnichannel operations. This includes central warehouse and store backrooms, supplier inbound flows, store replenishment, e-commerce fulfillment, and fully in-house last-mile delivery. The role ensures smooth product movement from supplier to shelf to customer, while maintaining service quality, speed, accuracy, and cost control.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Own daily logistics operations for warehouse, stores, e-commerce, and delivery
• Act as the single point of accountability for logistics performance
• Ensure uninterrupted product availability and fast replenishment
• Manage hybrid warehouse and store replenishment model
• Plan inbound, transfer, and replenishment schedules based on sales demand
• Enforce FIFO, expiry control, and proper storage standards
• Oversee e-commerce picking, packing, dispatch, and fulfillment accuracy
• Manage in-house rider fleet, routing, dispatch, and delivery performance
• Reduce delays, failed deliveries, and customer complaints
• Ensure disciplined use of inventory, warehouse, and delivery systems
• Track logistics KPIs and take corrective action quickly
• Coordinate closely with hypermarket, e-commerce, and finance teams
• Support new store openings and delivery area expansion
• Control logistics costs including fuel, labor, losses, and wastage
• Lead, train, and discipline logistics staff and delivery riders

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
• 7–10+ years of experience in retail, hypermarket, or e-commerce logistics
• Proven experience managing warehouse and store logistics together
• Proven experience managing in-house delivery fleets and riders
• Experience working with POS-integrated inventory and logistics systems
• Background in fast-growing or multi-branch retail operations is an advantage
• Strong execution and hands-on operational leadership
• Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding of retail, e-commerce, and last-mile logistics
• Ability to manage high-volume daily operations
• Strong data analysis and KPI management skills
• High discipline, accountability, and customer focus
