The role of a Business Development Project Manager is crucial in the Project Management sector as it is responsible for driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and managing key projects that contribute to the company’s success. This position plays a pivotal role in fostering team collaboration, aligning company goals, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives. In a dynamic business environment with constant innovations and challenges, the Business Development Project Manager must stay abreast of industry trends to drive sustainable growth. This role interacts with key stakeholders across departments, including executives, project teams, and clients, and sits at the intersection of project implementation and business development. Success in this role is measured by achieving project milestones, meeting financial targets, and delivering innovative solutions within the set timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and supervises the organization's business development project preparation and monitoring activities;

  • It will help you collect necessary information for business development preparation according to the plan that will be provided soon!

  • Prepares a plan to conduct necessary studies for the preparation of a business development program, and implements the plan once it is approved.

  • Identifies and studies various business development programs and business and development projects that should be prepared in line with the organization's medium and long-term plans.

  • Prepares an operating budget for business and development project studies in consultation with the relevant sector;

  • Plans, coordinates, and participates in research on selected business and development projects for detailed study;

  • Monitors the implementation of project studies, provides necessary support, and submits timely progress reports

  • Examines and prepares the progress reports of the projects submitted from time to time, in the required format;

  • Evaluates and proposes improvements to the capital and operating budgets submitted by the various departments of the organization for business projects; coordinates the preparation of a comprehensive plan in this regard;

  • Prepares and submits reports and statements, supported by charts and statistics, regarding the performance of the organization's business and development projects.

  • Conducts business development studies

  • Establishes good working relationships with contractors based on contracts;

  • Implementing The Organization's Policies, Guidelines, Implementation Strategies, Goals, And Plans;

  • Coordinate And Oversee The Critical And Supporting Work Processes Of The Project's Contract Management;

  • Ensures that the project is being implemented within the set timeframe, budget and quality standards;

  • Evaluates project performance using benchmarks, takes corrective action, and develops and implements new strategies that can improve performance.

  • To make decisions and provide solutions to problems arising from the overall project activities based on the delegated authority;

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience with business strategy, financial planning, and P&L oversight

  • Expertise in corporate governance, compliance, and risk management

  • Strong grasp of market trends and competitive positioning

  • Familiarity with performance metrics, KPIs, and executive reporting

Job Requirements

Educational requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field (required)

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry-specific expertise manufacturing

  •  A candidate who is eligible for appointment or has an MA degree from a recognized university in Management/ Economics/ Industrial/ Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering/ similar field & 12+ years of senior executive leadership experience Strategic, Quality Management, and preferably.
