On behalf of our client, Dangote Cement Ethiopia PLC, we are looking for a competent candidate to fill the position of Internal Audit Specialist.

Job Purpose
The Internal Audit Specialist will provide leadership in executing financial and operational audits, ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management processes, and compliance with company policies and professional standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support development and execution of the financial and operational audit plan
• Lead and supervise audit analysts during audit engagements
• Review and validate audit reports and recommendations
• Evaluate financial records and design risk-based audit programs
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
• Conduct special audits, investigations, and ad-hoc assignments
• Communicate audit findings to management and audit committees
• Ensure compliance with International Internal Auditing Standards and IIA Code of Ethics
• Identify training needs and support team capacity building

Job Requirement:

Qualification & Experience
• Education: BA/BSc in Accounting or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage)
• Professional Certification (Required): CIA, ACCA, or CPA
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in financial and operational audit
• Big 4, multinational, manufacturing, or SAP-based environment experience is a strong advantage
Required Competencies
• Strong understanding of internal controls, IFRS, ICFR, and risk management
• Experience in fraud detection and audit investigations
• Proficiency in audit tools and accounting systems (SAP preferred)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Salary & Benefits
• 90,000–110,000 gross, might have a room for more based on negotiation
• Transportation Service to and from Holeta (If Needed)
