We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic / Welder to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and safety of our industrial machinery and equipment through expert mechanical maintenance, repair, and welding. This hands-on role requires a proactive individual who can perform both scheduled preventive maintenance and urgent emergency repairs in a demanding industrial environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.

• Execute various welding tasks (arc, MIG, TIG, gas) to fabricate, repair, and maintain metal structures and components.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals to guide work.

• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) activities to minimize equipment downtime.

• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and perform efficient repairs to restore operations.

• Adhere strictly to all workplace safety standards, regulations, and procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

• Collaborate effectively with other team members and departments.

 Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on work experience as a mechanic and/or welder in an industrial setting.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment.

• Proven experience in welding techniques (arc welding, MIG, TIG, gas welding, etc.).

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals.

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repair work.

• Solid knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

• Physical fitness suitable for industrial and site-based work (including lifting, bending, and working in various conditions).

• Prior experience in construction plants, asphalt plants, factories, or heavy equipment maintenance is a distinct advantage.
