The Restaurant Supervisor will oversee the daily front-of-house operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, exceptional guest satisfaction, and smooth coordination between the service team and other departments. The role involves supervising staff, handling guest concerns, maintaining service quality standards, and ensuring that the dining experience reflects Savor Addis’ high standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Service Operations & Quality Control 

o Oversee daily restaurant floor operations to ensure consistent and high quality service. 

o Monitor staff performance, providing on-the-spot coaching to maintain service excellence. 

o Ensure all guests are warmly welcomed, attended to promptly, and receive exceptional customer service. 

o Maintain cleanliness, organization, and ambiance in the dining area in accordance with company standards.

2. Staff Supervision & Training 

o Supervise and support service staff, ensuring they adhere to policies, procedures, and grooming standards. 

o Conduct regular briefings and training sessions to enhance service skills and menu knowledge. 

o Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and ensure optimal staff coverage during peak hours.

3. Customer Relations & Problem Solving 

o Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally. 

o Resolve service-related issues effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty. 

o Foster a culture of hospitality and proactive service among the team.

4. Operational Support & Coordination 

o Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery. 

o Monitor inventory levels of service-related items and coordinate with procurement for replenishment. 

o Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, or private functions.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the restaurant service industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. 

• Proven customer service and team management skills. 

• Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant operations preferred. 

  • Prior experience in client engagement, customer relations, guest relations, or customer-facing roles is highly preferred

  • Background in sales, service coordination, account handling, or client relationship management is an added advantage

  • Proven ability to engage high-end clients, manage guest expectations, and build long-term customer loyalty

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working in hospitality, restaurants, lounges, hotels, or premium service environments is an advantage
