We are a growing importer of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and high-value EV components. We are seeking a meticulous and experienced professional to manage our global supply chain and take full, compliant responsibility for customs clearance. This role is vital for the timely and legal importation of our next-generation vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Customs Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all customs office responsibility and documentation, specifically managing the HS codes and valuation complexities associated with EVs and specialized battery/powertrain components.

• Global Logistics Coordination: Coordinate end-to-end global and local logistics (ocean freight, air cargo, warehousing, and transport) to minimize delivery lead times and transit costs for sensitive EV products.

• Trade Compliance: Ensure rigorous adherence to all international trade laws, tariffs, duties, and local customs regulations relevant to the importation of electric vehicles.

• Manage relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven background (5+ years) in logistics, supply chain management, or international trade.

• Expertise in customs procedures, tariffs, and import/export documentation, specifically for complex or high-value goods (automotive experience highly preferred).

• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive shipments.

• Knowledge of documentation requirements for battery safety and EV component classification is a plus.
