Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain daily financial operations, bookkeeping, and accurate accounts.

  • Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and perform bank reconciliations.

  • Ensure compliance with Ethiopian financial and tax regulations.

  • Manage payroll, invoicing, and financial planning activities.

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making.

  • Assist in audits and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.

  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure transparency, accountability, and financial control.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint, and accounting software.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise ethical judgment in financial matters.

Technical Expertise / Software:

  • Microsoft Office Suite: Excel (advanced), Word, PowerPoint

  • Basic computer skills, data entry, and file management

  • Familiarity with accounting software (for Accountant role)

  • Complete all tasks accurately, efficiently, and within set deadlines.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all duties.

  • Take full responsibility for assigned administrative, financial, and office support tasks.

  • Demonstrate flexibility, problem-solving skills, and proactive communication to support organizational needs.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Office Administration, or related field (for Accountant Level 3/Diploma).

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting, office administration, or related fields.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic accounting software.

  • Fluency in Amharic and English (written and spoken).
