The Senior Accountant at Velox Import and Export plays a crucial role in managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting standards.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.

• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

• Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvements.

• Mentor and train junior accounting staff as needed.
