Job Description

The Incumbent supports the Sales team by developing and implementing a holistic capability development program to be delivered to all sales staff in order to up-skill the function and drive business growth and sustainability. Strategies and implement coaching and mentoring needs towards the realisation of a highly capable sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective coaching of staff throughout the nation to increase Sales capability and performance.

  • Carry out periodic and timely training need analysis as per the business requirement using the various tools and instruments to measure the levels of knowledge and skills. 

  • Develop the training calendar and content for the sales regions based on the identified needs.

  • Design and develop customized training modules and training solutions to suit the specific and generic needs of the organization;

  • Implement and implement sales model and sales performance assessment tools.

  • Drive regular performance management discussions within the sales team.

  • Monitors sales team progress against these initiatives and provides feedback to the management team as and when required.

  • Develop & implement the Sales Development / Capability strategy for HBSC   

  • Build & develop all the appropriate training manuals for the Department 

  • Building the capabilities of our new Distributors 

  • In-market training on the use of our Company Systems 

  • On-going training of all new Habesha staff within each respective Division 

  • Building the capabilities of our Divisional & Area Sales Managers 

  • Support for the Area Sales Managers and their Distributors on route planning

  • Supporting the execution & migration of all marketing resources

  • Jointly accountable with the Divisional Managers for the proper execution of our RTM Strategy 

  • Overseeing various sales divisions to ensure proper RTM execution 

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

Education

  • MA/BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Administration, Management OR related fields

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in FMCG, i.e. merchandising, sales, distribution, marketing, coaching &RTM  

  • Willing to work in different Sales Divisions, with no fixed base for a long period of time.

Language

  • Amharic, English and other local languages (Preferred)
