Raras Technologies is seeking a visionary and results-driven Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) to lead the company’s innovation agenda and transformative initiatives. The CIO will be responsible for shaping the organization’s long-term innovation strategy, identifying emerging technologies and market trends, and fostering a culture of creativity and forward-thinking to maintain and expand the company’s competitive advantage in the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

1.Innovative Strategy and Technology Vision

• Define, articulate, and execute the company’s innovation strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.

• Continuously monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and market disruptions, assessing their relevance and potential impact on the business.

• Recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance competitiveness, operational efficiency, and market differentiation.

2.Driving Business Growth

• Translate innovation initiatives into measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth, market expansion, and competitive positioning.

• Identify new business models, revenue streams, and go-to-market strategies enabled by emerging technologies.

• Work closely with sales, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure innovative solutions are market-ready and aligned with customer demand.

• Support strategic decision-making by providing innovation-led insights that drive sustainable business growth and long-term value creation.

3.Leadership and Team Management

• Lead, inspire, and mentor cross-functional teams focused on innovation, R&D, software development, cloud services, AI, automation, and digital initiatives.

• Provide strategic direction, guidance, and resources to ensure efficient execution of innovation projects.

• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning across the organization.

4.Product and Solution Development

• Drive and lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative products, platforms, and technology solutions aligned with customer needs and business strategy.

• Translate business requirements and market opportunities into product visions, solution architectures, and actionable development roadmaps.

• Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation and prototyping to deployment and commercialization.

5.Strategic Partnerships and Collaboration

• Establish and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors, startups, research institutions, and industry leaders.

• Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to ensure innovation initiatives are fully aligned with corporate strategy.

6.Technical and Operational Oversight

• Provide executive-level guidance on digital transformation initiatives and the adoption of emerging technologies.

• Ensure that the company’s technology platforms and infrastructure support innovation, scalability, and long-term growth.

7.Strategic Partnerships and Collaboration

• Establish and manage strategic partnerships with technology vendors, startups, research institutions, and industry leaders.

• Collaborate closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to ensure innovation initiatives are fully aligned with corporate strategy.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience leading innovation, R&D, or transformative initiatives in technology-driven organizations.

• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, innovation frameworks, and digital trends.

• Strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing innovation teams and cross-functional projects.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of Bachelor Degree or preferably Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or PhD) in Business, Technology Management, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience in IT, software, or technology industries.

• Track record of successfully implementing innovation initiatives or commercializing new technologies.

Field of Study

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology Management, or related field

• Advanced degrees preferred.

Experience Requirement

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role driving innovation or R&D initiatives.
