The Electrician Engineer at Blue Elephant Fiberboard Manufacturing Plc plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our electrical systems. Based in our South Ethiopia Regional State office, this full-time position is ideal for a dedicated and skilled mid-level professional with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of basic PLC principles and electrical engineering for wood manufacturing machinery. Responsibilities include circuit analysis, troubleshooting, and implementing electrical projects to support manufacturing operations. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct circuit analysis to ensure the efficiency and safety of electrical systems.        

• Design and implement electrical systems and components for manufacturing processes.

• Understand and implement basic PLC principles in electrical system.

• Perform electric welding tasks as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

• Develop and maintain electrical documentation, including schematics and reports.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with manufacturing equipment.

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations.

• Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

• Assist in the training of junior engineers and technicians on electrical practices.

• Manage projects related to electrical upgrades and installations.

• Work overtime as required to meet project deadlines. 

• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electrical engineering.
