The Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses to support the medical and health services provided by Kaliti Food Share Company Clinic. The technician ensures the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of laboratory results to assist in diagnosis, treatment, and health management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, prepare, and analyze biological samples (blood, urine, etc.) from clients (staff).

• Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests to ensure food safety and health standards.

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.

• Follow all safety, hygiene, and quality standards, including SOPs and protocols.

• Record, report, and interpret laboratory findings accurately for health assessments.

• Manage inventory, storage, and proper handling of reagents, supplies, and samples.

• Assist healthcare professionals with specimen collection and health screenings.

• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and proper organization of the laboratory environment.

• Maintain detailed documentation of tests, procedures, and results for regulatory compliance.

• Participate in regular training, audits, and continuous quality improvement activities.

• Collaborate with other departments to support health and safety initiatives.

• Educate staff and clients on health-related queries and laboratory procedures.

• Submit comprehensive daily and weekly reports to the clinic management for review and action.

• Support the implementation of health policies and infection control measures within the clinic.

Job Requirements

• Diploma / Level IV in Laboratory technician from a recognized institution and 2 years relevant experiences.

• Valid professional laboratory technician  license

• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
