Job Description

Oversee the implementation of regional sales strategies to maintain the company’s competitive edge and achieve growth objectives. Lead and develop the sales team by providing coaching, mentorship, and training, while setting clear sales targets, analyzing performance data, optimizing territory assignments, and building a high-performing team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic thinking 
•    Define a sustainable regional sales strategy focusing on: RTM, Portfolio and Operational excellence.
•    Manage and influencing different areas/functions: commerce, logistics, capabilities, sales operations, finance.
Market Insights
•    Understand trends in the market and identification of competitive advantage of the company products vis a vis with competition.
•    understand of the customer (participating in research, conducting data analysis, and reading/listening to customer feedback) to effectively serve as the voice of the customer during product development or initiative execution.
•    Trade visit for the purpose of gathering feedback to develop best practices and tools.
Execution
•    Define each market’s target by Brand and additional operating KPIs.
•    Design strategy focused on attracting, developing and retaining customers.
•    Strategy revision with cross functional departments for better consumer experience and to create efficiency
•    Asset management in the market and in-house, to forecast and improve year on year our Assets strategy and performance.
Leadership
•    Provide leadership and expertise that establishes credibility with Teams, distributors and business partners and increases the efficiency.
•    Provide On job training and coaching on teams and partners development regarding competency and performance drivers 
Stakeholder management
•    Enable alignment among commercial teams (i.e., Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, finance and other stakeholders).

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven success in previous sales role.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position in FMCG company 

  • Commitment to continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence customers and team members credibly and effectively.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.

  • Strong decision-making abilities.
