Job Description

The QC Lead supervises daily quality control operations, ensuring raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products meet specifications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage QC Officers working across 3 shifts.

  •  Ensure correct sampling from milk reception to finished product

  •  Verify CCP monitoring

  •  Ensure testing accuracy for chemical, physical, and sensory tests.

  •  Quarantine and control non-conforming product.

  •  Authorize product release or rejection

  •  Conduct first-level investigations and escalate issues.

  •  Approve QC results in ERP (batch release workflow).

  •  Provide daily QC shift reports to Quality Manager and Production.

  •  Coordinate closely with production supervisors and maintenance.

  •  Direct Reports: QC Officers (Shift-based)

  •  Have the responsibility to report problem(s) with regards to the FSMS to identified person(s)

Job Requirements

  •  BSc Degree in Dairy technology, Food Science, or related fields

  •  More than 3 years’ experience

  • Strong knowledge of testing methods

  •  Understanding of dairy processes (milk, yogurt, cheese)

  •  Good leadership and coordination skills

  •  ERP proficiency (batch release, QC entries)

  •  Strong decision-making under pressure
