Job Description

Job Overview 

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management and maintenance of our internal network infrastructure, ensuring optimal functionality and security across our office and dormitory locations. This role is crucial for maintaining a stable and secure IT environment and providing essential technical support and training to our staff.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The IT Specialist will perform the following core duties:

  • Daily Management & Maintenance:

    • Perform daily management and maintenance of all office and dormitory networks and IT equipment, including computers, printers, servers, and networking gear.

    • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.

  • Network Security & Stability:

    • Conduct regular maintenance of office network security and stability, including applying patches, monitoring network activity, and implementing security protocols.

  • Employee Support & Training:

    • Provide consultation and tutorials on office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, collaboration tools) for new employees and existing staff as needed.

    • Serve as the first point of contact for all IT-related support queries.

Job Requirements

Basic Requirements 

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.

  • Experience: 1-2 years of professional work experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.

  • Language: Must be fluent in English (both written and verbal).

  • Technical Hints (Desired Skills):

    • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and basic network configuration 

    • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS).

    • Experience with troubleshooting common office software and hardware issue
