Pastoralist Initiative Development Aid (PIDA) signing a Sub-grant agreement with Oromia Development Association (Lead Organization) for project entitled Life- saving humanitarian assistance to address the most critical needs of internally displaced people, returnees and refugees with EHF-OCHA for implementation of Health and Multi-Purpose Cash Assistant (MPCA) in Oromia Region, East Borana Arero Woreda.

The general object of this project is to address the humanitarian needs of 80% internally displaced people in Arero woredas, East Borena zone through implementation of a project entitled Life-saving humanitarian assistance to address the most critical needs of internally displaced people and affected communities for the period of nine months of 2026. The proposed projects required establishing a Mobile Health and Nutrition Team at woreda level to provide essential health services and multi-purpose cash assistants for eligible affected communities at IDP/ and Health facilities.

Hence, PIDA planned the recruitment of Project staff at Arero Woreda for entitled Life-saving humanitarian assistance to address the most critical needs of internally displaced people, returnees for two sectors of Health and Multi- Purpose Cash Assistant thematic intervention.

Job Title- Woreda project Coordinator

Number of position - 1(one)

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• In all activities, Health and Multi-purpose Cash assistants Project Coordinator fosters collaboration within the Regional and Woreda, particularly within the programme /technical team providing integrated programme and technical support as he/she facilitates communication and information exchanges between the PIDA and ODA.

• Project Coordinator will work under the overall leadership of the PIDA Regional, Zonal Cluster offices representative, and report directly to the Project manager,

• Responsible for planning program, implementation, coordination & supervision of all aspects of the project objectives,

• Provides regular technical support to Woreda Mobile Health and Nutrition Team, Woreda Health Office, IDPs/ Health Facilities, Primary Health Care Units &, communities.

• Ensure stakeholders & community support to address the essential health services and MPCA needs for affected people.

• Conduct GBV case management supporting front-line health workers to provide medical support for the IDP sites.

• Conduct case management and ensure referral and linkage to service providers and One Stop Center.

• Facilitate regular review meeting & trainings for health service providers & health professionals.

• Insure accurate & timely collection of data, analysis 8z, reporting based on the requirements.

• Prepare quarterly & annual project performance report.

• Responsible to perform other duties assigned by his /her immediate supervisors

Job Requirements

• MA/MSC, BA/BSC in Public Health, Health Psychology/ Medical Social Work, and other health related fields,

• Year of experience 1, 3 years for MA/MSC and BA/BSC respectively in coordinating health or related projects in NGO's, government, Humanitarian Response and private organizations

• Written & oral communication skills in English, Afaan Oromo &, Amharic is mandatory.

• Basic skill in Computer.

• Motorcycle driving skill and licensed
