Immediate Supervisor: Radiology Department Manager

Position Summary
We are looking for a radiologist to join our team of medical professionals permanently. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting medical images to support the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries. This role involves analyzing X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other imaging studies to provide accurate and timely reports to referring physicians. The Radiologist will also ensure that imaging procedures are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established clinical standards.
The position holder should demonstrate strong diagnostic abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care and work closely with other healthcare professionals to contribute to high-quality, patient-centered services within the hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities
Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
Analyze patient medical history and symptoms to determine appropriate imaging techniques.
Consult with other medical professionals to discuss patient cases and provide expertise in imaging-related matters.
Discussing the procedure and medical history with patients.
Providing a summary of the findings and documenting it in patient records
Provide accurate and timely written reports of imaging findings to referring physicians.
Collaborate with clinicians to discuss imaging results and assist in patient management decisions.
Ensure imaging procedures are performed with the highest standards of quality and patient safety.
Monitor and maintain the proper functioning of imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
Supervise radiologic technologists and ensure compliance with protocols and radiation safety measures.
Recommend additional imaging or follow-up studies when necessary for accurate diagnosis.
Maintain detailed documentation and records in accordance with hospital policy and legal requirements.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical team meetings.
Contribute to the development and review of imaging protocols and procedures.
Educate and train junior staff and radiographers on best practices in medical imaging.
Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and technologies through continuing medical education.
Establishing a reasonable network to increase patient flow
Responds to enquiries promptly,
Maintains and develops required documents both in soft and hard copies as references, benchmarks for positive change, audit skills, follows the proper implementation of organizational resources, and takes actions for corrections when required.
Able to utilize sophisticated medical appliances entrusted to the department,
Being available at any time when needed for urgent cases,
Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO and Top Management.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification and Experience
Graduated from an accredited University /Medical college (MD, Radiologist)
More than 1 (One) year after specialty study
Valid/renewed professional license
Knowledge and Skills Requirements

Working Conditions
Working conditions are normal for an office environment, i.e., 8:00 AM -5:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and 8:00 AM to 12:AM on Saturdays, which makes up six working days in a week.
Some conditions require working out of the normal working hours, and the employee must avail himself.
