Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, and employee relations.

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and standard operating processes aligned with labor laws and company objectives.

  • Manage workforce planning, job evaluations, and organizational structure updates for efficient operations across retail, e-commerce, delivery, and call center units.

  • Oversee payroll coordination, attendance systems, leave administration, and benefits management.

  • Strengthen employee engagement, culture, and communication programs to support a positive working environment.

  • Monitor compliance with Ethiopian labor regulations, safety standards, and internal policies.

  • Handle disciplinary cases professionally, document HR cases properly, and advise management based on best practices.

  • Lead training and development programs, identify skill gaps, and support continuous learning across departments.

  • Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and HR analytics for management decision-making.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource and Recruitment, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification is a plus

  • Proven experience in HR management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in retail or service-based companies.

  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and international HR standards.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.

  • Ability to lead teams, manage conflict, and support management decisions.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment.

  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software systems.
