This is a unique opportunity to lead operations at one of Addis Ababa’s top high-end restaurants, drive excellence, and shape an elite dining experience. You’ll work with a talented team and have the autonomy to implement innovative operational strategies.

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager with 5+ years in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, managing all teams, optimizing processes, and delivering a seamless guest experience. Fluency in English and a proven track record in operations leadership are essential.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee all restaurant operations to guarantee smooth, efficient, and profitable service. 

  • Manage and develop front-of-house and back-of-house teams, ensuring high performance. 

  • Implement operational processes to enhance service quality and efficiency. 

  • Monitor inventory, procurement, and cost control to maximize profitability. 

  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations. 

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. 

  • Analyze operations, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions. 

  • Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring the highest satisfaction. 

  • Supervise cash handling, reporting, and daily sales reconciliation. 

  • Uphold the restaurants brand, culture, and hospitality values at every level. 

Job Requirements

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience in operations management within high-end restaurants or hotels

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written). 

  • Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills. 

  • Deep knowledge of restaurant operations, guest relations, and cost control. 

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. 

  • Highly professional, presentable, and committed to operational excellence. 

  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
