The Assistant Operator (Komori) will support the production team at QuaLabels Manufacturers PLC by assisting in the operation of Komori printing machines. This full-time position is ideal for individuals at the junior level, with 1-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment. The role involves collaborating with senior operators to ensure efficient machine operation and high-quality output. The Assistant Operator will also contribute to maintaining safety and quality standards within the engineering sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup and operation of Komori printing machines under the supervision of senior operators.
Monitor machine performance and identify any operational issues during production runs.
Support the maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
Help in the preparation of materials and inks required for production.
Document production processes and maintain accurate records of machine settings and outputs.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to printing technology.
Assist in quality control checks to ensure printed materials meet specifications.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
