Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and registers.

  • Compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial data such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant financial regulations.

  • Preparing and filing tax returns, computing taxes, and managing tax planning based on current legislation.

  • Conducting audits and reconciling financial discrepancies to ensure accuracy and resolve errors.

  • Preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and reports to assist management in decision-making.

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payments, and ensuring timely bank reconciliations.

  • Monitoring cash flow and forecasting future financial positions.
