Job Description

The Oromia Industrial Park Development Corporations (OIPDC) is established under the regulation number 215/2012 and mandated to oversee the construction and administration of the Integrated Agro Industrial Parks(IAIP) in the region. Accordingly, currently there are Two (2) IAIP  (Bulbula and Nekemte  IAIPs) and 6 Rural Transformation Centers(RTC) in different Central and Eastern Oromia Region. 

Oromia Industrial Parks Development Corporation is seeking a experienced Manager  to serve as our Nekemte Integrated Agro Industrial Park’s Manager that report directly to the Deputy  CEO of Operation Wing , and that will provide a transformative leadership, 

  • Type of Employment: Permanent 

  • Place of Registration: Finfinne/Addis Ababa/,Mexico next to the Republic of  Sudan Embassy in east direction or electronically through www.oipdc.org

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • The   Manager shall administer and manage the park, submit the plan and budget prepared  by  the office to the relevant authority, implement it if approved, and report on its implementation.

  •  Ensure the safety and security of the park and control the movement of people and equipment.

  • Collect the rent and lease revenue of the park in a timely manner, ensure its collection, 

       monitor its implementation and report its implementation to the corporation

  • Conduct, manage and control the maintenance, renovation and expansion works in the park,

     and submit its implementation to the corporation,

  • Work to ensure peace, love and harmony between the park administration and the local community, respecting the rights, traditions and morals of the local community, and reporting on its implementation to the corporation,

  • Ensure that the park is comfortable, green and attractive for work and living.

  • Control liquid and dry waste as well as industrial waste from causing harm to the local people and land, take corrective action,

  • Work and support the establishment of value chain linkages between the people of the region and the parks,

  • Work with the local people and relevant authorities to ensure that knowledge and technology transfer reaches the farmers in a sustainable manner before and after agriculture,

  • Organize one-stop service delivery to clients, provide fast, clean and transparent services,

  • Monitor the integrity and compliance of the owners working in the park, select and submit to the corporation those who are exemplary for encouragement,

  • Monitor the adequacy of the development infrastructure and social services established or constructed therein, correct where there are problems, correct, and report to the relevant authority on its implementation

  • Within the scope of his/her assigned role, provide oral and written responses to requests submitted by telegram, email and in person from the owner, and forward those beyond the scope of his authority to the corporation, 

  • Develop and implement various strategies to ensure that the park is accepted by the people and gains the love of the community,

  • Pay special attention to the security of the park, greenery of the park, water services, electricity and telecommunications

  •  Extensive Public relations activities, 

  • Conduct timely performance appraisals of employees 

  •  Perform additional duties assigned to him/her.

Job Requirements

Education Qualifications and Work Experiences

  • BA/MA/PhD in Management, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Administration and related fields that has 8/6/4 Years of direct Work Experiences respectively.

  • Required Number:1(One)

  • Salary: 26,713.00 

  • There is also  allowances like position allowances  and others
