Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across logistics services.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with growth objectives.

  • Build and manage business pipeline; achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior.

  • Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts.

  • Lead commercial negotiations on contracts, pricing, and agreements.

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction through follow-ups and problem resolution.

2. Strategic Planning & Commercial Execution

  • Contribute to annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Support setting of commercial KPIs and growth targets.

  • Monitor commercial performance metrics and drive improvements.

3. Pricing, Profitability & Financial Management

  • Develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.

  • Assess financial performance, margins, risks, and operational costs.

  • Lead business cases for new services, products, or market segments.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Operations, Finance, Customer Service, HR, QHSE, and regional teams.

  • Support bidding and tender processes (RFQs/RFPs).

  • Engage with global network partners to strengthen service capability.

5. Compliance, Risk & Quality Management

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and national regulations.

  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks.

  • Promote ethical sales practices

8. Team Leadership

  • Mentor inside and outside sales teams.

  • Support a high-performance culture and guide best commercial practices.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • Experience: 7–10 years of experience in business development or commercial management in logistics or freight forwarding.

  • Master’s degree (MBA) or professional certifications are an added advantage.

  • Proven track record in securing large accounts and achieving revenue targets.

  • Strong exposure to multinational environments.

  • Knowledge of air freight, sea freight, customs processes, warehousing, and end-to-end logistics solutions.

  • Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

  • Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Financial analysis and budgeting skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital sales tools.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
