KKGW General Import and Export is looking for Quality and Safety supervisor.

The Quality/Safety Supervisor plays a crucial role in the manufacturing/assembly sector, tasked with ensuring that products meet all quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Plays critical role in minimizing the risk on 5Ps of GMP, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and responsible for the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the quality and safety management systems to meet superior standards of excellence.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Supervise, coach, and train all teams to protect employees from hazards and dangers, lower probability of workplace accidents, increase productivity of employees, and meet performance, quality, and safety standards. Lead in identifying and minimizing potential safety risks to staff, partners, assets, and operations/programs. Assisting in the recruitment and on-boarding of new hires.

• Quality Assurance, Safety and GMP: Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and professional standards are followed. Standardize the process GMP and ensure the implementation of safety and quality standards on 5Ps. Ensure safety, lean 5S checklists, and quality measures, are clearly defined, validated, reviewed and documented. Request and ensure required safety equipment’s are identified, acquired, and maintained in good working condition.

• KPI Tracking: Tracking quality KPIs like FPY, defect rate, lean 5s and safety KPIs like near miss report, LTIFR, SIF, Audit finding, Lean safety checklist, etc. Working with teams to continuously improve production KPIs.

• Planning: Develop safety and quality plans including standard operating procedures (SOPs), TQM, local safety rules (LSR), safety briefings, safety advisories, checklist based on safety assessments. Develops a safety improvement plan (SIP). 

• Problem Solving: Conducting rigorous safety and quality inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and developing risk mitigation strategies. Preparing detailed reports on quality and safety issues, investigations, and other significant outcomes based on the data collected. 

Job Requirements

common Requirements 

• Education: BSc degree in Environmental/Industrial Engineering/OHS.

• Experience: A minimum of four to six years of experience working as a quality and safety assurance officer, with two of those years spent in supervision.

• Skills: Regulations and compliance, Strong leadership, Problem-Solving, Training and education, Planning, Team work, Effective communication skills are essential. 

• Knowledge: Safety and quality standards, auditing, technical proficiency, familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six sigma methodology and metrics.
