Job Description

The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is a leading international Christian Organization with 150 years of experience, active in over 30 countries, working towards the vision of “Leprosy Defeated, Lives Transformed.”

The Leprosy Mission International – Ethiopia (TLMI-E) works to reduce stigma and discrimination through leprosy, disability, and socio-economic inclusion programs. We are committed to empowering persons affected by leprosy to enhance their dignity, participation, and inclusion. TLMI-E’s Country Office is located in Addis Ababa.

We are currently recruiting a Program Coordinator for TLMI-E’s Disability Inclusion Program and related initiatives.

The Program Coordinator (PC) is responsible for ensuring that all TLMI-E projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The PC serves as the primary liaison between TLMI-E and its implementing partners to ensure timely, accurate, and quality project implementation. Strengthening partner capacity is a key component of achieving TLMI-E’s long-term program objectives.

This role requires coordinating multiple projects simultaneously and communicating clear expectations and technical requirements across all areas of program intervention. The PC must be able to maintain detailed and accurate documentation, and provide high-quality communication both written and verbal.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional who will lead the development of proposals and manage TLMI-E’s programs on leprosy, disability, and inclusion. The Program Coordinator will also act as the focal person for TLM within partner organizations in Ethiopia.

This is a three-year contract, with a possibility of extension based on program funding.

  • Resourcefulness, pro activeness, and the ability to work independently with initiative

  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

  • High level of integrity and commitment to ethical conduct

  • Commitment to community engagement and capacity development

Persons affected by leprosy and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

TLMI-Ethiopia maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abuse, neglect, or exploitation. Successful candidates will be required to submit a criminal background declaration and must comply with all organizational policies, including the TLMI-E Code of Conduct and the TLM Global Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy.
