Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installing electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and motor control systems in industrial environments.

  • Performing preventive maintenance to keep electrical systems functioning efficiently and safely.

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems in machinery and control equipment.

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams for proper installation and repair.

  • Installing and maintaining electronic control equipment such as sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and automation systems.

  • Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

  • Collaborating with engineers, mechanics, and other tradespeople to complete projects and maintenance tasks.
