  • Strategic and results-oriented mindset

Sex: Female or Male

Language Skill: Advantageous if the candidate has a good English skill in addition to Ethiopian Local Languages.

Term of Employment: Permanent after successful completion of Probation Period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that reduce costs, improve service levels, and support the company's manufacturing objectives.

  •  Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team to ensure efficient and effective performance.

  • Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors

  • Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business

  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors

  • Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries

  • Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production

  • Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement

  • Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages

  • Supervising a purchasing team and delegating tasks across departments when necessary

Job Requirements

Qualifications;

  • Required Educational Attainment: MA/MBA/BA 

  • Education: Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or related field of studies

  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years relevant experience 2 years on Senior Position for Degree and 4 year relevant experience 1 year on Senior Position for Masters.
