Job Title : Human Resource Assistant

Department: Human Resource

Grade Level : P3

Reporting to :  HR Team Leader

Work Environment:  Dukem factory

contribute to day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, data entry, payroll preparation, and employee record maintenance. This role is key to ensuring effective HR processes that support the company's mission and culture. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment processes by scheduling interviews and coordinating candidate communications.

  • Ensures that human resource policies, regulations and procedures of the Company complied and are in accordance with labor law.

  • Assist in progressive recruitment, promotion, transfer, etc as per the company’s policy.

  • Employees file and documentation salary and allowance payments, increments, disciplinary measures are taken and proper personnel records are kept properly.

  • Assist in training institutions and other organizations to arrange training courses with the view to secure training opportunities for employees of the company.

  • Practice and implement based on Local labour law 1156/2019 

  • Follow up attendance sheet and canteen 

  • Support the preparation of recruitment-related documentation. 

  • Prepare and maintain employee files and HR documents, both physical and electronic.

  • Ensure data accuracy in the HR information system and ERP platform.

  • Support the onboarding process for new employees, providing relevant information and materials.

  • Assist in organizing orientation sessions and follow-ups .

  • Help administer HR policies and procedures.

  • Prepare HR-related letters and documents as directed. 

  • Assist with payroll preparation and benefits processing as needed.

  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely payroll completion. 

  • Support the organization of HR events, trainings, and internal communications and governmental offices.

Technical competencies:

  • Knowledge of Human resource 

  • knowledge of Local Labour law 1156/2019

Job Requirements

Qualification & Education:

Education:   BA degree in Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or any other related field;

Years of Experience:   A minimum of 2 years in the field

Language:   Good English communication and Local Language 

Computer skills:  Microsoft office / CRM – Oracle is a plus
