Job Description

Handle warehouse transactions including receiving, issue/shipment, daily stock checks, recording and reconciliation, update, carrying out cycle count activities by maintaining efficient and safe operation of the warehouse and making sure storage areas meet minimum requirements and standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Control incoming supplies by checking brand quality and quantity of good received against the actual order by Following BGI RM receiving procedures and reject unacceptable products and escalate to immediate supervisor and quality rep for quick decision.

  • Receive and properly stock any purchased and supplied items in a way that suits proper material management procedure and maintain records of all incoming and outgoing /transfer deliveries of the material.

  • Responsible to process system GRN for items received to RM Wearhouse and process issue voucher for item delivered to production, and make sure system print records are documented and reconciled with physical stock. 

  • Responsible for storage areas, facilities and equipment’s meet the minimum requirements and standards through maintaining segregation of stock per item, batch, expiry and designate damaged/expired item storage as per store procedure 

  • Puts appropriate labels/tags /batch # and Expiry dates that contain necessary information of each item stocked and implement 5s in the raw material and chemicals stores to make sure consistently neat and orderly mannered raw material WH.

  • Mitigate all potential risk areas and safety hazards inside and around Raw material store areas and apply necessary preventive measures and  health and safety requirements.

  • Responsible for WH stock update and daily stock reconciliation physical vs system and making sure every stock movement are recorded on Ax-system accurately and on time.

Job Requirements

  • The position requires BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Supply chain or relevant fields.

  • 2 years’ experience in warehouse and inventory management activities in an FMCG operation setting
