Job Description

Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports To: General Operations Manager 
Supervises: Sales Executives, Sales Officers, Customer Relations Staff

To lead and manage the sales operations of the company, focusing on achieving sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective sales strategies, market analysis, and team management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Prepare annual and monthly sales forecasts and ensure achievement of sales targets.

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.

    1. Team Management

  • Supervise, train, and motivate the sales team to meet performance targets.

  • Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide coaching and feedback.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and recommend training where needed.

    1. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate clients, and dealers.

  • Ensure timely handling of customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.

  • Promote customer retention and loyalty programs.

    1. Sales Operations

  • Manage vehicle and spare parts sales processes, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth transactions.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team for promotions and advertising campaigns.

  • Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and ethical sales practices.

    1.  Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports and analysis to management.

  • Collaborate with the Finance, Import, and After-Sales departments to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

  • Participate in management meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

  • Education: BA degree in Marketing, Sales Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in sales management, preferably in the automotive or spare parts industry.

  • Language: Proficiency in English and Amharic (both written and spoken).

  • Computer Skills: Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
