Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Receive and verify Quotation.

  2. Request insurance quotations and process insurance payments.

  3. Check shipping documents for accuracy and request corrections if necessary.

  4. Complete and process related to banking, shipping, logistics, and import permits, such as foreign currency, bank import permits, duty-free requests, pre-import permits, and release on the ESW system.

  5. Ensure chemical registration via e-service.

  6.  Verify and process duty payment requests and demurrage invoices.

  7. Coordinate with clearing agents to ensure timely payments.

  8. Prepare documents for clearance at the National Bank of Ethiopia.

  9. Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor

Job Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, or related fields.

  2. Strong communication and writing abilities.

  3. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  4.  Basic record-keeping and documentation capabilities.

  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

  6. Able to work effectively in a team environment.
