Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Secretary to provide secretarial and clerical support to our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit internal and external correspondence/letters, and other documents.   

  • Organize and maintain paper and electronic filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval of information.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing letters, including sorting, distributing, and preparing for delivery.

  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional reception.

  • Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary.

  • Operate and maintain office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, photocopiers).

  • Act as a point of contact between the department manager(s) clients and other stakeholders who come to our office

  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.   

  • Maintain the privacy and security of company documents and information.

  • Perform other secretarial and clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • BA degree in Secretarial Science and Office Management, or a related field.

  • 3 Years proven experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic. Proficiency in other local languages is an advantage.   

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
