Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Secretary to provide secretarial and clerical support to our team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
Prepare and edit internal and external correspondence/letters, and other documents.
Organize and maintain paper and electronic filing systems, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
Handle incoming and outgoing letters, including sorting, distributing, and preparing for delivery.
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming and professional reception.
Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary.
Operate and maintain office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, photocopiers).
Act as a point of contact between the department manager(s) clients and other stakeholders who come to our office
Handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
Maintain the privacy and security of company documents and information.
Perform other secretarial and clerical duties as assigned by the supervisor(s).
Qualifications:
BA degree in Secretarial Science and Office Management, or a related field.
3 Years proven experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic. Proficiency in other local languages is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
