Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Anesthesiologist at Teklehaimanot General Hospital, located in Addis Ababa. The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, managing pain levels before, during, and after surgery, and providing critical care support. The role involves working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure patient safety and comfort. Daily tasks also include monitoring patients' vital signs, adjusting anesthetic levels as necessary, and responding to emergencies swiftly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Anesthesiology

• Proficiency in Medicine and Surgery

• Skills in Critical Care Nursing and Pain Management

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations

• A Medical Degree with specialization in Anesthesiology

• Board certification in Anesthesiology

• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
