With a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a results-oriented and experienced Operations Manager to lead, coordinate, and streamline our operations to support continued growth and impact.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing processes, managing teams, and ensuring efficient service delivery across our trading and service divisions. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in operations management, preferably in trading or service industries.
Plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities across trading and service departments.
Develop and implement standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor supply chain and logistics performance, ensuring timely delivery and inventory control.
Oversee procurement, warehousing, and distribution functions.
Manage vendor and client relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Lead and mentor departmental teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Track and report operational performance to senior management.
Identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage end-to-end operations of coffee cleaning, sorting, and packaging.
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Oversee inventory management, storage, packing, and dispatching processes.
Coordinate fleet management for both dry and liquid transport.
Optimize delivery routes, scheduling, and cost control measures.
Collaborate with finance, marketing, and business development units to drive growth.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain Management or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus.)
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in operations management, preferably in the trading and/or services sector.
Proven experience in supply chain management, process optimization, and team leadership.
Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of Ethiopian trade regulations is highly desirable.
